Overview
ARES Atelier is a luxury Italian coachbuilder based in Modena that specializes in bespoke vehicle transformations, limited-edition supercars, and the modernization of classic automotive icons. The company focuses on a co-creation philosophy, merging traditional artisanal craftsmanship with advanced engineering to deliver highly personalized luxury mobility solutions.
History
Founded in 2014/2015 as ARES Design, the company established itself in Modena's 'Motor Valley' to provide high-end customization and coachbuilding services. Over its first decade, it gained recognition for projects like the Panther ProgettoUno and the S1 supercar, positioning itself as a boutique manufacturer of bespoke, one-off, and limited-run vehicles. Following a period of financial difficulty and restructuring, the company underwent a significant relaunch in 2026, rebranding as ARES Atelier. This transition marked a shift toward more disciplined industrial foundations and a refined operational strategy under new management. The company is now backed by Proma Group as a majority shareholder, alongside investor Boris Collardi. Under the leadership of CEO Antonio Trotta, ARES Atelier aims to stabilize its production processes while maintaining its core identity as a creator of exclusive, tailor-made automotive works of art for collectors and enthusiasts.
