Overview

Jetour is a Chinese automotive brand and subsidiary of Chery Automobile, specializing in the production of SUVs and off-road vehicles. The brand operates under a 'Travel+' strategy, focusing on providing intelligent, spacious, and versatile vehicles for global markets.

History

Jetour was officially launched by Chery Holding Group on January 22, 2018, as a product series designed to address evolving market trends and consumer demands for travel-oriented vehicles. The brand quickly gained traction in the Chinese market, focusing on the 'Travel+' segment, which emphasizes space, intelligence, and off-road capability. In 2021, Jetour evolved into an independent brand with its own dedicated operations for research, development, procurement, and marketing. The brand achieved rapid growth, reaching its 1 millionth vehicle production milestone in January 2024, just 65 months after its inception. By the end of 2025, the brand's cumulative global sales exceeded 2.39 million units. Jetour has aggressively pursued international expansion, exporting vehicles, complete knocked down (CKD) kits, and spare parts to over 100 countries and regions. The brand continues to scale its global footprint, with plans to establish numerous KD factories worldwide by 2030 to support its goal of becoming a leading global hybrid off-road brand.
