Overview

Kosmera is a premium electric vehicle (EV) specialist brand established by the Chinese technology giant Dreame Technology. The brand focuses on ultra-high-performance hypercars and intelligent mobility solutions, integrating proprietary high-speed motor technology and AI-driven systems into its vehicle architecture.

History

Kosmera was founded in late 2025 as the automotive arm of Dreame Technology, a leader in high-end consumer appliances and robotics. The brand was created to leverage Dreame's internal expertise in high-speed electric motors—originally developed for vacuum cleaners and robotic systems—and apply it to the luxury automotive sector under the legal entity Xing Chen Future Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. The brand made its global debut at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January 2026 in Las Vegas. At its debut, Kosmera unveiled the Nebula 1, a four-door electric hypercar prototype claiming a staggering 1,903 horsepower and a 0-62 mph time of 1.8 seconds. This vehicle served as a showcase for the brand's 'dual-mode mastery' philosophy, which aims to combine extreme track performance with the comfort and usability required for daily driving. The introduction of Nebula 1 immediately positioned the startup as a potential competitor to established boutique manufacturers and high-end EV brands. In March 2026, the company expanded its public profile at the Appliance & Electronics World Expo (AWE) in Shanghai. During this event, Kosmera showcased its full 'Starry Sky' project lineup, including the Star Razer and Star Matrix concept vehicles. These models introduced key proprietary technologies, such as the 'Starry Core' all-solid-state power battery and the 'EMAD' electromagnetic fully active suspension system, which allows for independent four-wheel control and advanced maneuvers like tank turns. As of early 2026, Kosmera is transitioning from a conceptual design phase to production engineering. The company has announced plans for a small-scale production run of its hypercars starting in 2027, with a target of approximately 100 units. Furthermore, the brand has signaled international ambitions by proposing a future manufacturing facility in Berlin, Germany, backed by partnerships with European financial institutions to establish a global presence in the high-performance EV market.
