Overview

Linktour is a Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer specializing in premium, lightweight new energy micro-vehicles (NEVs) for urban mobility. As a subsidiary of the Fortune Global 500, the brand focuses on integrating advanced aluminum technology with smart connectivity to redefine urban travel.

History

Linktour, originally known as Lingtu, was established around 2018 as a joint venture between Lifan Group and Hebei Yujie (Yogomo), initially focusing on small electric SUVs like the K-One. The company aimed to bridge the gap between low-speed electric vehicles and full-scale passenger cars, utilizing a sophisticated coating line in commissioned in early 2018. However, the brand faced financial challenges during the consolidation of the Chinese EV market. In 2023, the brand was revitalized following an acquisition by, one of the world's largest aluminum and textile producers. This acquisition integrated Linktour into a massive industrial ecosystem, providing the financial backing and material science expertise necessary to pivot toward high-tech, aluminum-intensive micro-mobility solutions. The parent company's vast resources, including 18 production sites and over 100,000 employees, provided a stable foundation for the brand's rebirth. Under Weiqiao's ownership, Linktour shifted its strategy to the 'boutique urban mobility' segment, emphasizing a 'From Can to Car' manufacturing philosophy. The company debuted its new brand identity and the 'Alumi' model series at major international events like, signaling a strong intent to expand beyond the domestic Chinese market. In late 2025, the brand officially launched its L6e and L7e electric vehicle series in, marking its formal entry into the European market.
