PC/ABS
Default interior-trim blend of polycarbonate and ABS; not the separate ABS or PC pages.
Overview
PC/ABS is the default interior-trim blend: polycarbonate for heat and impact, ABS for processability, paintability and cost. It is the material of instrument-panel retainers, pillar trims, consoles and many painted interior skins. ABS Plastic and Polycarbonate already exist as separate library pages. This record is the blend, not either homopolymer. The ratio is tuned per part — higher PC for heat-adjacent trim, higher ABS for large painted mouldings. It is injection-moulded, often painted or foil-decorated, and is a recyclable thermoplastic when segregated. It is not a structural composite and not an exterior TPO skin.
