Why consider this supplier?

Unipart Polymer and Composite Solutions is a manufacturing division of Unipart Group. It was formed when Unipart bought the business of Formaplex Technologies, announced on 6 August 2024, and rebranded it. Formaplex had been in administration since January 2024. The division makes carbon fibre composite parts, injection moulded polymer parts and finished components for automotive, aerospace, defence, motorsport, rail and industrial customers. Unipart's site lists composites, injection moulding, painting and lacquering, CNC machining and 3D printing, and assembly and flocking. Formaplex worked from several Hampshire sites, including Portsmouth, Cosham, Horndean and Havant. McLaren, a long-standing Formaplex customer, said it welcomed the deal.
