Overview

Open-top version of the McLaren 750S, launched in 2023 alongside the coupé. It shares the coupé’s 4.0-litre M840T twin-turbo V8 (740 bhp / 750 PS, 590 lb ft / 800 Nm) and seven-speed SSG, rear-wheel drive. A carbon fibre Monocage II-S monocoque adds a bespoke carbon upper structure for the composite Retractable Hard Top (opens in under 11 seconds at up to 31 mph) and carbon rollover protection, with no extra reinforcement needed. Lightest dry weight 2,923 lb, only 108 lb more than the coupé; 0–62 mph 2.8 s, 0–124 mph 7.3 s, 206 mph top speed.

Carbon lower structure identical to the 750S coupe, with a bespoke carbon upper structure above the engine bay for the ROPS and roof; no additional reinforcement needed. Aluminium front/rear crash structures. Lightest dry weight 2,923 lb (coupe 2,815 lb).

Spider-specific composite Retractable Hard Top (optional electrochromic glass) opening in under 11 s at up to 31 mph, with carbon fibre rollover protection system and glazed flying buttresses. RHT supplier not named in OEM press.
