Overview
Production-body SSC Tuatara hypercar publicly unveiled at a Pebble Beach Concours press conference on 24 August 2018 (Monterey Car Week). Jason Castriota design; all-carbon body/chassis; twin-turbo 5.9L flat-plane V8 by Nelson Racing Engines rated 1,750 hp on E85 / 1,350 hp on 91 octane at the production announce. Locked 100-unit run. Earlier concept lineage dates to ~2011; 2018 is the production-spec public reveal. Customer deliveries from 2020 including Striker and track-focused Aggressor variants.
