Corrections and reporting an issue

How to tell us something is wrong, what to include, and what happens next.

We want the data to be right, and readers and suppliers often spot problems before we do. Corrections are welcome from anyone.

How to report something

  • Use the Report an issue link on any supplier, manufacturer, component or vehicle page. It opens the contact form with the page already filled in.
  • Or use the contact form, or email hello@autotrayce.com.

What to include

  • The page, or the company, car or part it is about.
  • What is wrong and what it should say.
  • A source for the correct information, if you have one. A link to a company website, registry entry, certificate or press release lets us act much faster.

If you are writing on behalf of the company concerned, please send corrections about it from a company email address.

What happens next

  1. We aim to reply within 1–2 business days to say we have it.
  2. We check the correction against a source before changing anything.
  3. If it is confirmed, we update the record and the date it was checked, and let you know.
  4. If we can't confirm it, we tell you what we found. Where a fact is genuinely uncertain, we may take it down until it can be confirmed.

We correct what is wrong. We don't remove accurate, sourced information because a company would rather it wasn't shown, such as a past administration or change of ownership.
