Founded in 2023 by Emanuel Colombini, a prominent entrepreneur and Lamborghini collector, Eccentrica was established to modernize the driving dynamics and aesthetics of the Lamborghini Diablo. Colombini collaborated with the renowned design studio BorromeodeSilva and a team of specialist engineers to overhaul the classic supercar's chassis, bodywork, and interior. The brand officially debuted its first prototype, the Eccentrica, in Milan in July 2023. This vehicle served as a proof of concept, showcasing a significantly widened track, carbon fiber body panels, and a modernized 5.7-liter V12 engine. The development process emphasized a 'hyper-restomod' approach, utilizing advanced manufacturing techniques such as 3D printing for complex titanium components. As of 2024, Eccentrica is moving toward the production phase of its first limited-run series. The company operates as a niche player in the luxury automotive market, targeting collectors who seek the visceral experience of a vintage supercar without the ergonomic and mechanical limitations of the original era.
