Zeekr

Zeekr was founded in March 2021 as a dedicated luxury electric vehicle brand under the Geely Holding Group umbrella. Leveraging Geely's Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA), the brand quickly established itself in the Chinese market with the launch of its initial models, focusing on high-tech, performance-oriented electric vehicles. In May 2024, Zeekr completed its initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker 'ZK', marking a significant milestone in its global expansion strategy. The company continued to scale its operations, establishing a global design center in Gothenburg, Sweden, led by Stefan Sielaff, to blend Scandinavian design aesthetics with advanced Chinese manufacturing capabilities. By 2025, the company evolved into the 'Zeekr Group', incorporating other brands like Lynk & Co to create a more integrated user ecosystem. Following a period of rapid growth and international market entry, Zeekr was delisted in late 2025 following a merger with Geely Automobile Holdings Limited, consolidating its position within the parent group's broader automotive portfolio.
