Powder Coatings
A solvent-free, electrostatically applied dry coating system that is cured under heat to provide durable, high-quality finishes on automotive components.
Overview
Powder coatings are applied as a dry powder (epoxy, polyester, or hybrid resin) via electrostatic spray guns, then cured in an oven at 160–200°C to form a hard, smooth or textured film. They contain no solvents and produce minimal VOC emissions. In automotive manufacturing, powder coatings are used on wheels, chassis components, suspension parts, brackets, underbody parts, and heat shields where a durable, corrosion-resistant, and aesthetically consistent finish is required. Compared to liquid paints, powder coatings offer improved edge coverage, chemical resistance, and a more sustainable processing profile with near-zero overspray waste.

Zirconium
Refractory Metal
Zirconium is a lustrous, silver-grey transition metal known for its exceptional corrosion resistance and high melting point. In the automotive industry, it is utilized both as a pure metal for specialized coatings and in the form of zirconium dioxide for high-performance ceramic components.
Phenolic Resin
Thermoset Resin
A thermosetting phenol–formaldehyde resin family valued for fire resistance, high-temperature char performance and friction stability. Used in automotive brake materials, high-temperature composites, adhesives and under-hood components.
