Reactive Hot-Melt PUR
Moisture-curing reactive hot-melt polyurethane for interior and hem bonding.
Overview
Reactive hot-melt polyurethane (PUR, also HMPUR) is a moisture-curing adhesive applied molten for interior trim bonding, headliners, hem flanges and some module work. Green strength is immediate; final properties develop with humidity. It is distinct from the library's Polyurethane Adhesives (liquid one- and two-component structural and glazing PU) and from crash-durable epoxy. This is the hot-melt reactive PUR family, not a foam and not a thermoplastic hot-melt that remelts in service. Applied from drums or slugs through heated hoses. Once moisture-cured it does not reflow.
