Artificial Leather / Slush Skins
PVC, TPO and TPU slush and foil skins for instrument panels and door cards, distinct from leather.
Overview
Artificial leather and slush skins are the PVC, TPO and TPU surface skins used on instrument panels, door cards and consoles — slush-moulded, vacuum-formed foil or coated fabric — giving a leather-like grain without a hide. They are the volume luxury-look interior skin, not upholstery leather. Leather, Alcantara, PVC sheet, TPO bumper fascia and TPU elastomers exist as separate pages. This listing is the interior-skin product: slush IP skins, TPO/TPU foil and coated-fabric artificial leather for doors and seats on some programmes. Grain, foam backing and low-emission (VOC/fogging) specifications define the automotive grades. Typical processing is slush moulding, vacuum forming or cut-and-sew of coated fabric. It is not a structural polymer.
